    Yes I have heard the same thing from KG Tropicals YouTube. Never had any experience with them personally though..

    As @eatyourpeasalready said the main difference is how they lay eggs. Mystery snails only lay eggs when there are 2 or more in the same tank. They lay them above the water line only, in one big mass. The nerite females lay eggs everywhere tiny white ones. Apparently, they can be hard to get off of plants but I've never kept Nerite only mystery snails(my pfp 🙂). Also I think the nerites don't have long antennae like mystery snails do.

    @TorreySo does this mean you shouldn't keep hornwort with shrimp? Or should you not keep hornwort with shrimp if you have low calcium in your water? I think it makes sense its doing well then in my water since mine is very hard. Thanks for your insight! 😆

    Thanks @Odd Duck for replying to my question! Yea some plants can just be hit or miss. I've had great success with hornwort but I've heard they will just "randomly" lose their needles at times, hoping that won't happen to me anytime soon 😆!

    I've heard a lot that the older the mother shrimp the better they are at carrying/rotating the eggs. They just get better at it as they age.

    Yes I agree with this as well. Shrimp/snail is the way to go.

    @Betta Trained Human I'm also new here and just got a betta as well! He is a koi plakat male. I've been trying to figure out a name for him since I got him 😆.

    Yes, moneywort does very well in my water.

    What does everyone mean when talking about "Stem-plants"? Are Crypts an example? Just curious because I have hard water and plants are doing fine.

    Hi everyone, I'm new here and was wondering what everyone's opinions on how often you should feed your Guppy Fry, and what do you recommend? Just started feeding Easy Fry Food.
