  1. For the loaches, if it was me, I would de-worm them. To help control the ammonia I would simply not feed during the treatment. Fish can pretty easily go several days to a few weeks without food.
  2. I feed it to mine no problem, but I probably wouldn't do it as the only food as you would have to add a ton to match the same mass of food they could get in a pellet or flake food.
  3. I am not currently, I have been thinking about joining though. For a while I lived to far from the metro to make it worth it but I am closer now.
  4. I have! I'm good friends with the owner, I've been eyeing those rays a lot. He has them pellet trained already which is a huge help. Thats a good looking tank, where did you find a piece if wood that big?
  5. I really like how that looks, I might have to copy that layout. That is a great looking tank for sure.
  6. Thank you for the tips that's really good to know. What do you use for lighting? It came with a big coral life light with the old 4 pin bulbs, I was hoping to upgrade at some point to led lights but I'm not sure what ones and how many I might need.
  7. Hi Daniel, I'm not entirely sure yet but I am leaning towards a pair of either albino pearl or black diamond stingrays, with some larger peaceful south American cichlids such as the threading acaras and or bumblebee Oscar's. Very much open to ideas still.
  8. Hi everyone, I'm an aquarist from Minnesota. I have a small fish room with mostly livebearers in 10-20g aquariums, a 150g pond, a 60g, and I recently acquired a 540g aquarium (8'×3'×3') that I will be setting up over the next few months. I have been keeping fish for 15 years now and have about 6 years of retail fish experience as well.
