I did some testing about 10 years ago now, and found it very beneficial to run about 1 teaspoon of marine salt per 20 gallons of water when doing 50% water changes. I never finished my testing to figure out a formula that would work well for lots of different types of water parameters and such, but you might use that as a starting point.

Lets start with the tanks water parameters? Especially pH, hardness and nitrates.

Time seems to be the thing that needs to happen. If it starts getting worse, I personally would try a QT tank with salt as that is a good general anti fungal/bacterial aid over a long period of time.

I've never heard of Mebendazole, I've used both Fenbendazole and Flubendazole to deworm before.

Sometimes they can break their jaw if they run into something or are lip locking and fighting with other cichlids. Unfortunately I don't know of anything a hobbyist can do to repair this.

Hi Gerald,
Now that clout is off the market, we use Dimilin to treat anchor worm. I find it on ebay. It comes in super concentrated bottles there where like 1 ml treats 500 gallons and is a pain to work with. However we have found dimilin to be effective at treating it. Perhaps you can find something less powerful in dosage.

Hello Everyone,
Unfortunately I am locking down this thread because it discusses things that are outlined in the guidelines that we don't discuss on this forum. That would be competing companies both positively or negatively. I don't like having to be a cop, however running a forum in where talking about our competitors either positively or negatively is bad for business. We are here to discuss most aspects of the hobby with the limitation it can be a negative to our business if we are investing resources to provide this resource to everyone.
Thank you

This is called loc line, they used to make it so there was a bendable spray bar, but I'm not seeing it pop up on a few websites currently, may be discontinued.

This video has links to what we used and shows it/how to do it.

A fun idea, however we won't want to open ourselves up to the liabilities that go with it. It also goes against our bottom line. There is always drama, of X, had Y algae or pest, or disease. It also takes away from the primary goal of this forum and that's discussing topics. It'll also bring people in who just want to abuse the plant swap. Even on a local level I couldn't get people to not try and milk the system....

I'm wondering if it's cool if we share what we got, or if everyone got the same thing. I'll at least say I'm excited to throw away my old walmart net breeder box.
You can share what you got if you'd like.

I’d probably just keep doing partial water changes each day if needed and make sure to test each day. If you got most of it in the first big one you may be fine.

Snow tires, real snows tires and not "all seasons". Snows tires are made of softer rubber that stays flexible below freezing unlike other tires, resulting in increased grip. The difference is real. I never thought it could make such a big difference. Definitely a big improvement in stopping and getting going again.
I've ran Bridgestone Blizzaks on a Ford Focus and on my F150 now. If your car is front wheel drive I'd recommend getting all four snow tires that way the rear tires will grab too. I like ordering them on basic steel wheels so you can swap them out yourself.
Do you find studs on top of this helps?

It’s mostly about general aquarium health and the types of food you feed. Fees things that don’t get lost deep in the gravel and you avoid most corydoras barbel issues.

I love to watch this, As my wife calls it, snail surfing.

We each hatch like a tablespoon of eggs. A teaspoon will looks mostly clear.

I like the gold form without the black personally.

I wouldn't do too many, just enough to snipe some fry.

Thats a fun looking tank, thanks for sharing. I hate trying to get big driftwood to stay sunk.

Hmm I'm not sure what that is, do they get any green in their diet?

I'm not sure it's popeye, as it's not that pronounced, but he looks stressed out. What is the water temperature? Have you done any anti biotics?

I personally don't keep anything specific in a quarantine tank. I just let mulm hang out from the last batch of fish.
