AquaAggie
Any ideas on what the white floating stuff is? It first showed up when quarantining some sterbai and a butterfly loach and treating with paracleanse. It’s in my 5 gallon quarantine tank with a sponge filter. Have used paracleanse before an have never seen this.
darkG
My guess is Oligochaete worms.

I have treated plenty of fish with paracleanse in this tank and have never seen this. I will have to look closer but I don’t see them moving independently just floating in the water column. darkG
It is very hard to see, so I may be quite wrong. And I don't know the history of the tank. I don't know terribly much about worms either. So... maybe they hung out in the substrate, and died en masse from the medication?
Jimmy Cleveland
They look like detritus worms to me I've had them in my tank my African dwarf frogs love to eat and hunt them and I recently added a trio of Guppies and they've almost completely eaten all of them.
