Levi_Aquatics
The aquarium was doing great then all of a sudden the fish started gasping and some died. The water also got a bit cloudy. All the water parameters are the same as they have always been. Any help will be appreciated! Thanks!

I will try a water change too. Thanks for the input! Edited January 31, 2021 by Levi_Aquatics
gab
how long is your tank running for? anyway if the fish are actively dyng do a water change (i would do 50% in your situation)..when in doubt, change it out.. since you have nitrite still measurable what about ammonia? are you actually sure nothing changed?what about temperature?
Levi_Aquatics
I have had the aquarium going for about 2 years. The temp is at 75 which is normal.
gab
can we have the photo of the entire tank? in the photo u posted before i see there is a ton of duckweed, maybe that is blocking out quite some of the oxygen exchange, but if you have an airstone running should still be fine, or also move the outflow from your filter over the water surface to brake it. how is the tank filtered? I am using a sponge filter.
Brandy
You don't dose liquid carbon do you? Once I OD'ed a tank accidentally and that was the symptom set I saw. I had almost instant response to a 50% water change.
