supergecko
Hi! Glad to join the forums. I’m a new 10 gal owner, wondering if the usb pump and nano filter from here can replace my Top Fin PF 10 hang on back? Thanks!
Patrick M. Bodega Aquatics
Welcome! What kind of nano filter is it? From what I can tell it sounds like it would work.

Mitch_ScruffyCityAquatics
I have a nano in my 10g qt tank with zero issues. The most fish I have had at one time was six small fish. It has zero substrate or decorations. I think the nano is fine is a modestly stocked tank. When I bought it I think it was rated to 10g, but now the listing says to purchase the small for 10g and up... If you already have the nano I would use it. If you are thinking about purchasing one, you might follow their specifications. 1
supergecko
I have 1 honey gourami and 5 cory habrosus so I think it will be ok. Thanks!!
Arturo_S
I’m sure you could swap out your HOB for the Co-op sponge/air pump! You would just need to make sure you run both of them for a while so you don’t crash your cycle by removing the HOB! 1
