Which brand of filter?

What brand of filter did they recommend to use in an aquarium?

I already have  2 sponge filters running on one air pump and one sponge filter has a lot of air running through it and the other hardly any air at all.  They both of air stones.  Does anybody have an idea why they run differently?

I have an air pump with two places to add airline hsoing, one spits out lots of air and the other not so much air.

Co-op sponge filters are good.  I use one off Amazon because I wanted a finer sponge.   I can't remember the brand and I don't think it matters.

As far as the uneven air, air will follow the path of least resistance.  The stones might have some variations in manufacturing, the air tubing different lengths.....

If you want even air flow, get a air control manifold that allows adjustment of each airline, or a air flow valve on each line.

@FishyJames is right about the path of least resistance. You should get air valves for each one and adjust until they are equal. I'd start with both turned down to 75ish% max flow but you may have to turn the one that currently has more flow lower

the above 2 are dead on. get some valves so that you can individually adjust the flow to each of your filter/air stones.
