Stocking recommendations for 10gal. community tank

Looking to add some fish to my 10 gal tank. I currently have 7 white cloud mountain minnows and a few bladder snails. I'm concerned about overstocking the tank but I would like a community tank at the same time. I would really like some Cory's but I keep reading that they do better in a 20 gal.+ tank and again I would be afraid to over stock the tank. Anyone have some recommendations?

I mean you could maybe do some pygmy corys

What temp are you running your tank at? What are your parameters like? That will help narrow down the types of fish that will go well with your white clouds.

Do you plan on getting a lid? If you do, there are some killifish that could potentially do well in your setup.

How long has it been set up? The more established it is the more wiggle room you'll have on stocking

ember tetras would look nice in there (assuming temp is around 76F)

Pigmy Cory cats, maybe some chili Rasbora

If you’re looking for Cory cats, Pygmy’s are pretty much your only option there.

for mostly bottom dwellers, you may be able to try a small gobi or 2

Yes maybe 5 or 6. They really like groups. A social cory cat lol

Maybe a betta as a centerpiece fish? Cherry shrimp are also cool.

You could also try some nano crustaceans like Thai micro crabs or freshwater pom pom crabs.
