Mahi27
Hi friends. I have a juvenile musk turtle in a 40gal with some fish that have ich. Can I dose the tank as is or do I need to move Krusty into protective custody?

Odd Duck
You can also dry dock the turtle so any Ich parasites present on the skin will die out. A small water bowl is provided for drinking and daily soaks in a tank or tote for feeding can be done, but the turtle is kept mostly dry during the treatment period. This way you won’t be risking re-introducing Ich into your fish tank.
