Mikeb53
I have had 2 fish disappear overnight, and the reason I think the snails are devouring them is I had a angel die about an hour after putting him in tank and snails had latched on to him so hard I had to use the tongs to get them off before getting out of tank. The platty was there yesterday morning no where to be found this morning
Ken Dyer
That can certainly happen as snails are happy to clean up your tank and have little respect for what were previously their tank mates.
AJE
Deceased tank mates are a sail's favorite meal
Alesha
Yup. My ram's horn snails can clean up a guppy in no time at all. (Oddly, they tend to leave the base of the tail every time.) It's not the loveliest thing to see in your tank. But if they find it before I do, they deserve the treat, I guess. 🤔
