Planting Floating Water Sprite

Hi all! Over the past year or so, I've amassed a huge collection of floating water sprite. I really love this plant, but I'm having trouble planting it into the substrate. It grows very well floating in my tanks, but I can't get it to wither stay in the substrate, or do well in it. Does anyone have any tips?

I wish I had tips for you. Unfortunately I had the same experience as you. I’ve even gotten very well established planted sprite. The stems wither and it ends up floating anyway.

I haven't had a problem planting it. By and large it's an easy plant for me. Just don't bury the crown and it should be okay. At least for me. Plants are fickle though and maybe it doesn't like your water or substrate.

I couldn't get it to root.  I even tried to attach a plant weight near new roots farther up the stem in the hope that it would plant itself.

I could not get it to take root either. Floating though it does phenomenal!
