Root tabs with jungle val?

Just like the title says . . . . . 

Do you all use root tabs with Jungle Val, or does it just kind of do its thing and get dinner on it's own ?

i use root tabs with my val, and swords. those are the only 2 i target with tabs, the rest just get liquid ferts. for me, they seem to like it, but ill admit im not always on top of adding liquid ferts.

My experience is yes to get started. as the organic waste accumulates in your gravel you can put them in sparingly or none at all and usually do fine. (I’m talking like 1+ year of the tank running)

My experience as well. As long as they are getting some light and have space to propagate themselves to, they need minimal maintenance.

I don't.  If someone says they will grow faster and spread faster with root tabs, I wouldn't argue about it, but they can definitely grow and spread without them (at least in my tanks, with my water).
