Ken Burke
@Dork Fish nothing wrong with going slow and enjoying the process, but you are on the right track if you aren’t seeing any ammonia after 5 days. What type of bottom dweller were your thinking about? Adding one BNP might be a nice addition and wouldn’t be too big of a shock to your bio load

Dork Fish
@Ken Burke Sorry for the delay. School work had me busy LOL I am not really sure what pleco I will get, probably something small and cheap for my first pleco.@nabokovfan87 Added the 3 others, they have been doing good. 🙂
pianoblack
@dasaltemelosguy Wow these are amazing tips! I never would have thought about subjecting new plants to C02 only and then O2 in order to kill pests, eggs, and other unwanted hitch hikers on plants before. I have many questions now. Does this method also kill staghorn or black beard algae on plant leaf? And does this method kill damselfly larvae? I am battling staghorn algae currently. But in the past some damselfly larvae have killed and ate my chili rasboras due in large part to me introducing new plants without a proper quarantine. Thank you again for these tips!
