Distribute water force when filling tank - a gadget on recent scene in AC youtube

I was watching the AC you tube on plants posted in last day. There was some attachment to the bottom of a hose that distributed the water so it didn’t disturb substrate/plants.  Anyone know what it could be? It looked like a half moon shape.

I was scanning through the vid and don't see anything like you describe. Is it possible you're seeing the CO2 diffuser around 4:08 mark? 

Or, can you send a time link or screen capture?

Hi, I'm not sure, but if you're talking about this:It appears to be a 3D print, similar to this file? (looked it up awhile ago) Hope this helps!

I think it's one Dean put together.  I recall him discussing it.  It might be on one of the older dean's fishroom tours.

I saw these once, and I assume they are made in CO from the seller name and thought it was dope another nerm is somewhere in CO selling aquarium accessories. 
 

I use a Python, but before I had that I rigged this guy together:

I have the same one as @TeeJay, it fits on a 1/2” hose. Works like a charm.

Yep with a nice pond pump. So much easier than trying to balance a 5 gallon bucket to pour the water back in the tank. Keeps the plants in place nicely.

That's a pretty sweet setup there and I'm sure it didn't cost to much to make.

Nah, wasn’t bad at all. The beginning of my hobby was super fun coming up with tools and DIY projects to make maintenance more efficient. Sold that set up to a friend that set up a 90 gallon tank and couldn’t use a Python. Was fun to pass a tool that worked well for me to a friend
