billango
I got some co-op sponge filters used that didn't come with the uplift tubes. Anyone know the outer dimensions so I can just pick something up from the hardware store? Thanks
FlyingFishKeeper
Hi, I'd be willing to bet you'd be able to get customer support to help you, but mine is around 21mm or 13/16in in diameter, hope this helps!
nabokovfan87
I would double check the box. They might be hiding! Best of luck.

Guppysnail
Did you pop the top off the sponge? I store mine with the uplift tube inside the cage.
Odd Duck
You don’t actually need the uplift tube to run the sponge filters. I have filters in some partially filled, small tanks where I don’t run the up lift tubes at all since the water depth is lower than the top of the uplift tube would be. Good thought from @Guppysnail, they might be stored inside the core. If you really want an uplift tube, pop the top off and take it with you to the store so you can find a tube that fits. If you’re trying to order on line, even if you order what sounds like it will fit, the odds of it fitting correctly are low. Much better to contact ACO and see if they can supply some.
