Tommy Vercetti
How many hours a day is the light on? Is it on a timer? I run my lights for 8 hrs a day on a timer. That looks like green dust algae to me. I think that if you reduce the light brightness and/or duration, then manually clean the algae that would solve your problem.
Patrick_G
I agree, reducing the light will help a lot. Adding some live plants will also help. It looks like you might be maxed out for fish in that size tank, but Nerite snails do a great job eating algae and they’re nice looking too. 1. less light, maybe 6-7 hours per day 2. Plants 3. A few Nerite snails 1

CKetchum
Nerite snails are very common in the hobby most LPS and big box stores will have them in stock. They are great clean up crew. Amano shrimp are as well.
Brandon p
The Kasa timers work with your phone and are great for your aquarium lights that don’t have a build in timer. I have the link to the coop site they sell the Amazon does as well, but I try to support the coop when I canhttps://www.aquariumcoop.com/collections/type_lights/products/kasa-wifi-light-timer Edited July 30, 2022 by Brandon p
