Found what seems is a ghost shrimp. Please clarity?🐜

Do you have photos?

They go by three common names in the hobby -- "Ghost Shrimp" "Glass Shrimp" and "Grass Shrimp"

Here is what they look like:

Here is a nice species profile.

Looks it. I sent a photo but will post another later if needed?

I still don't see a photo.  How large is it?   Some low grade neocaridina shrimp are practically colorless, and can be mistaken for ghost shrimp or amano shrimp, but they don't get much over 1" long.

Mind you it vanished in the morning so may have gone check out a pot etc

This is not a ghost shrimp.  This looks to be a damselfly nymph. I have gleaned some photos from the web for you. They are predatory so small fry, shrimp and small snails are a food source.

Would it be happy to snack on a couple small bladder snails? I put some cuttlebone in so it needn't bother minnows with plenty of dry daphnia & flakes

Yes. 6 took out most of my good sized bladder snail population in a 20L. Snails are slow so a preferred food. They are opportunistic so a stray fry might get eaten. Once my bladder snail population diminished to almost nonexistent my shrimp began being depleted so I had to remove them. During this time I never saw a CPD fry though so I’m guessing they were snacked as well. My adults were never harmed.

Out of interest are glass shrimp the ones in the pet shop next to the coldwater tanks?

Probably.  If they're cheap, so it's evident they're intended mostly for feeders (like several for $1.00), then yes.  Other shrimp varieties will be at least several dollars each, probably five or more.

🐌Are Cherry shrimp or mystery snails co-habitable with Nerites(red onion snails) & DIma the Beta? I found some yellow empty shells in the tanks & enquired if they can put some by even if bladder but looked like garden ones in shape. btw are nymphs and sprites similar?🐌
