Brian
I was just wondering what everyone does for air movement in and around fishroom/house? As for me and my home I set the blower motor on my furnace/air conditioner to on. The blower runs non stop 24 hours a day. I also have a portable dehumidifier. I have done this since purchasing this home 23 years ago. And to be honest I no longer have a fish room I have 6 aquariums in my family room. gardenman
I currently live in a drafty old house so air circulation isn't all that much of an issue. I have ceiling fans going most of the year, so they help circulate the air also.
Guppysnail
I have central heat/ air conditioning. I replaced that air unit and went with a model that had a larger evaporator than needed for the size of my home. That does the trick over the summer. In winter it is so dry here I still get static electricity in my fish room even. So rooms I need higher humidity I use humidifiers. I also have ceiling fans in every room. This helps even things out in different rooms for different needs. Amphibian, fish, reptile and human comfort. Tihshho
@Brian Like you I run my circulation 24/7 regardless if the heat or AC is kicked on. In my basement I run two separate dehumidifiers (one in utility room and one in fish room) and have them plumbed to drains. In the fishroom I have a fan setup for cross flow of air in the room.
