Zoro
I got 2 of this beautiful orange plecos almost a year ago from a friend and he didn't know what species they are so if anyone could let me know I would appreciate. And ass you can see on pictures I got first spawn from them, now the question is should I leave little guys in tank or pull them out ? They are sharing tank space with some gardneri killifish and bunch of snails. Thanks for help
Levi_Aquatics
My guess would be super red Bristlenose plecos. Do either of them have bristles on their snouts?
Zoro
Yes they have bristles
Struggle
They look like super red bristlenose to me as well and congratulations on the fry! You could try leaving the fry in on this first spawn to see how it goes if you don’t have a separate tank for them. If you have a separate tank I usually just pick up the cave with the male / fry and relocate them all together.
Levi_Aquatics
Yep. They are super red bristlenose. Congratulations on the fry! I would probably just leave them in the same aquarium as the adults and feed them the same foods. Good options are green beans, cucumbers, and algae wafers.

Dried oak leaves and some drift wood are favorites for BNPs. Super reds like that are very popular, and should sell well for you.
Zoro
I have wood inside but didn't know about oak leaves, il have to get some. I have bigg breeding box where I could put them but if kilifish won't bother them il rather leave them as they are

And I wouldn't complain for some cash flow, this multi tank syndrome is not cheap here in germany. Il have to chek what the prices would be but il leave them grow for now and enjoy in them

gardenman
I keep my Super Reds in with my swordtails and in three of the tanks the swordtails prey on the pleco fry. In the fourth tank they don't. Why? I have no idea. You never know what your fish will do until you try and see.
