Vanish
This is a bit weird of a post. I have a 75g tank with many mutt guppies. All the fresh fry are a dull gray, no matter whether they grow into colorful males or dull females. This has been the trend for years. Recently I spotted two fry that are bright yellow. Any thoughts? 2
Guppysnail
I have had similar in my blue guppies. These with the dark eyes most often end up cream colored bodies with yellows or oranges in their coloration. I assume some recessive gene pops up. 1
lefty o
many generations of inbreeeding, and crossbreeding lead to oddball colors popping up now and then..
Vanish
I'm just surprised since these fry are days old. I dont usually see color until they're weeks old. I have a working theory though that the females had stored sperm from one group of males, and finally a different male, uh, got his way.

Minanora
How cool! I'd keep those for at least 6 months to see how they color up! FUN! My cobra babies have black patches and spots at birth. My Half Black Red Rose have a half black body and tail. My Blue Dragons are silver/white at birth.
