Saltinthedesert
When I first got these two dwarf flag acaras, they colored up and laid eggs right away but the tank wasn’t ready for fry. Now I’m ready and they aren’t breeding anymore. Anyone have tips to encourage that other than having a flat stone surface for them? Pictures below of them in their “normal state” and some of them while they were guarding the nest. Amazing color change! Saltinthedesert
Yeah, I’m doing water changes weekly at this point. Bloodworms every other day. Brine shrimp 1x a week. Edited October 6, 2020 by Saltinthedesert

Mridul Singh
I did water changes along with live foods, and I dimmed the lights a tad. That triggered spawns for me.

Mridul Singh
@SaltinthedesertI don't remember exactly, but I kept tank in the low 80's when I wanted breeding from them. Otherwise I kept it in the mid to high 70's. Hope that helps!
