Saltinthedesert
In all of my tanks, the Amazon sword plants eventually yellow and develop these holes throughout the leaves. I don’t believe it’s animal specific because it’s across all of my tanks. I fertilize with Aquarium Co Op easy green and flourish excel. Can anyone help me troubleshoot this? Saltinthedesert
I would also add that I tried fertilizer tabs at the root of some of the swords and that has not helped.

Most likely a single or multiple nutrient deficiency as long as you have enough light. Root tabs are usually very beneficial for swords since they are heavy root feeders. Please give more details about your set up and fertilizers, age of tank, etc, for instance: Size of tank: How long has the tank been set up: What type of filtration (all): What is your substrate: What type of light and how long is it on: Does any sunlight hit the tank, for how long, what time of day: What type of fertilizer(s) do you use and how often for each (include brands, please): Your water parameters: Ammonia: Nitrite: Nitrate: pH: GH: KH: Parameters of your tap water: How long have you had the plants: What types of plants do you have and how else does each type do: Basics of your maintenance routine (do you gravel vac and how often, frequency and amount of water changes, etc): Please post pics of the plants in question along with an ID if you have it. Post whole tank pics, whole plant pics, and close of plant lesion/problem: Anything else you can think of that might matter: Anybody else have anything to add to this “Questionaire”? Mmiller2001
Dose more Easy Green. 1 pump is 3ppm per 10 gallons. 1 pump in a 20 gallon is way low. Shot for 15ppm NO3 a week.
