Patrick_G
I received these for my birthday. I’m going to try out a fancy pants high tech aquascape. Over the next few months I’ll be buying the bits of kit I need to accomplish it. On the list are a Co2 setup, canister with built in heater, hardscape and aquasoil. I’ll be building a stand and something to suspend the light over the tank. The design is completely up in the air but I’m sure it’ll include plants that thrive in a high energy environment. The tank is a UNS 60u. It’s 60cm wide and 20ish gal. The light is a Chihiros wrgb II 60cm. Edited September 30, 2021 by Patrick_G 7

I’m a little intimidated, I don’t really want an algae farm in the living room, but I’ll be poaching tips and techniques from forum members and fishtubers to make it easier.
Patrick_G
The light is a bit more pricey than the Fluval 3.0 but seems to be considered a budget light among the high tech crowd. If the Fluval is top of the mass market then this is a cost conscience choice for those of us that might want a UNS, Kessil or ADA but can’t justify the high price.
