Ram man
It's the multi-color fish in the bottom center. I am new to African cichlids. I didn't buy it as a specific species I got it out of a tank labeled mixed Malawi and it was the only one in the tank I couldn't identify

Atitagain
Ummm your not near the Indianapolis area are you? This is the dad…1st pic he’s real pink, 2nd pic he’s about 6 months older and is more orange now. Notice how he’s more torpedo shaped like a mbuna Then he breed with a red shoulder peacock and the fish center above the venustus is the offspring then center/ right Now the body is more shaped like a peacock. It looks as tho yours even has the blue patch behind the gills. Can’t really see it in these pics but the offspring has it too. that has to be your fishes sibling. LOL when I bought the father it was sold as an OB that’s all they could tell me

You get naturally occurring mbunas with the OB gene the majority of the fish in the hobby have been hybridised with peacock Cichlids to give them the OB gene Edited September 27, 2021 by Colu
