BlueLineAquaticsSC
I put a few nasty scratches on the inside of the front glass panel of my 90g. Is there anyway to take these out or make them less noticeable? I can’t just turn the tank around because I put a 3D background on it that’s permanently attached
Fish Folk
Bummer! I’m not aware of any way to fix that. Depending on where you have light come down, it might be less / more noticeable…
HH Morant
There are several methods of scratch repair for windshields which you can find on the internet. I recently "fixed" a small imperfection in my aquarium glass (on the outside) with a windshield repair kit. It made the imperfection much less noticeable. Mine was a small spot rather than a long scratch.
Biotope Biologist
You can use diamond glass buffing and polishing pads for minor scratches. I used these on my Volvo which had fluted glass headlight housings (I miss that car so much). Just make sure to use water to lubricate the pad and get rid of glass debris. If it's a deep cut liquid glass is good to use. I'm not sure if this is what comes in windshield repair kits like @HH Morantsuggested.
