BlueLineAquaticsSC Posted July 15, 2021 Share Posted July 15, 2021 I’m doing a fish in cycle on my 90g with three 1” Honduran Red Points and I wanted to get some ideas on future tank mates. Anyone have experience keeping these with other cichlids, I’d like something like a geophagus, buffalo head, or parrot or a few Bolivian rams and want to know if they’d get along. But whenever I pair up different cichlids I always make sure there are enough caves, driftwood, and plants so they can each establish their own territory without too many border disputes, no matter how peaceful the description says they are. Mating changes everything, and as with all other living beings they get to decide when they're in the mood whether you planned for it, or not.
