quikv6
Hello all, I have a juvenile platy who is showing visible signs of wasting disease. She has a sunken belly, and rests on the bottom most of the time. She comes up for food, but she always spits it out. I have tried multiple foods (bloodworms, brine shrimp, daphnia, flake, etc), all soaked in Garlic Guard. All spit out, though there is eager interest in trying them. As far as meds: The platy has been treated a full course w/General Cure, and two full courses with Levamisole. There is also some salt (about 1 TBSP per 5 gallons) in the hospital tank. I have not seen any improvement, or ability to swallow food. I am hanging onto hope, since there still appears to be a drive to eat. Any ideas? All help is appreciated. Thank you.
