Hello all, I have a juvenile platy who is showing visible signs of wasting disease. She has a sunken belly, and rests on the bottom most of the time. She comes up for food, but she always spits it out. I have tried multiple foods (bloodworms, brine shrimp, daphnia, flake, etc), all soaked in Garlic Guard. All spit out, though there is eager interest in trying them. As far as meds: The platy has been treated a full course w/General Cure, and two full courses with Levamisole. There is also some salt (about 1 TBSP per 5 gallons) in the hospital tank. I have not seen any improvement, or ability to swallow food. I am hanging onto hope, since there still appears to be a drive to eat. Any ideas? All help is appreciated. Thank you. -
One of my female endlers have started to develop a sunken belly and a wobble swim. The male endlers seems to be having issues as well. The last female endlers seems to be doing just fine and so do all the other fish fry in the tank. -
Hello everyone! I ended up with a sickly batch of Cory cats when I went to the lfs a few weeks ago. One of the original three is still alive, and has been through the meds trio process. Has anyone seen their Cory cat look like this before? I’m not sure how to treat? Looks like it hasn’t been eating? It has this exact same white sunken spot on the other side, so it can’t be Ich. Is it just not eating? It is lethargic...still in quarantine tank. edit: the other two from the same batch developed fungus and sadly passed before the meds could take care of it. My main tank is very healthy with great water parameters. Will add a picture of that. -
He still has stringy poo what else could it be I just dosed it with ich x and maracyn what else could it be ? Debating if adding some aquarium salt
