I used to watch a ton of anime when I was in middle school and high school, now just once in a great while and I’m very picky which titles I like, pretty much everything I like was made in the late 80s early 90s lol titles like project a-ko, maison ikkoku, boys over flowers, magic knight rayearth, the slayers, sailor moon of course. Utena is my absolute series of all time

you know it's funny, my original gourami I had was a powder blue that I just adored. after he passed away I was going to get another powder blue or a neon blue because I just love blue fishes, so when I went to a LFS to check out what they had, the particular neon blue they had in stock didn't look too good but they also had these two little honey gouramies and the more I was watching them the more I started to fall in love with them so I bought those two instead and they've been with me ever since and they are just little darlings, they don't bother any of the platys, and they don't nip each other. I finally have a truly peaceful community tank and I just love it!

well, is the carbon what helps make the water really clear? will the sponges alone help keep the water clear? I'm confused because isn't that what's in those cartridges?

hello, the name's Marion and I'm new to C.A.R.E. lol what you see below is my current tank and it's lovely inhabitants, a pair of beautiful honey gouramies , and some green lantern platies. they poop way too much but I'm very hypervigilant in keeping their tank as clean as possible and they seem to all be doing well. 🙂

hello, so as what the title says, I'm confused as to the best way to optimize the HOB filter for my top fin 10 gallon tank. I'm sick of having to replace the cartridges. I've considering buying the aquarium co-op coarse sponge pad and cut it to fit inside it but if I do that, do I also need to insert a carbon infused media pad along with it? or should it be one or the other? also, should I add a medium pre-filter circular sponge around the intake tube or is that not necessary? this is so confusing. any help is appreciated, thank you!
