The Aquasky 2.0
Lighting for plants depends on what plants because some species such as Anubius,Java Fern, and Java Moss don't require bright light.

I personally prefer sand but it's your preference.

I have aquaclear 70 on my 40 breeder works well.

Have a young pair that I ordered from the Wetspot Tropical Fish.
The pipefish spawned about 3 weeks ago. Don't think the eggs were placed properly or secured because the eggs all released prematurely. This time noticed a difference of the pouch looks covered 😆

I don't have any worms in this take the worms I have are in a tank I have with bladder snails and they are small white ones
Oh okay if the worms glide across the glass glass they are planaria. Do you have a magnifying glass on hand? If so observe closely and if planaria they will have a triangular shaped head.
Did you collect the bladder worms yourself?

Looks like Planaria.
I think the bumblebee gobies if not found got sick as well and the planaria cleaned up the remains.

Great update.

I personally have a 20 long under my 55gal. metal stand. It's been there over 5 years now without any issues.

A solid shelf on the bottom brace is a must.
I personally would place a sheet of plywood cut to size.

Great suggestion.

Don't know why I waited all these years 😆 not having them in atleast one of my aquariums.
Long story short collected a few from a small lake near me.
It's been around 2 months having them in a large plastic container with airstone.
How long have anyone quarantined their copepod culture?
I did put a couple in my pipefish aquarium last weekend. Observed the aquarium for any activity with my magnifying glass non noticed.

He seems to be acting normal
If observing normal behavior no rapid breathing. I wouldn't worry btw Betta looks good to me.

I remember someone built a plywood aquarium and put casters on it didn't here from that person anymore after a couple of months. I personally wouldn't risk it.

How old are the fry did you remove the fry from the parents.
I learned that fry will feed off slime coat of the parents.

Apistogramma, Electric Blue Acara, and of course Convict Cichlid from my experience were decent parents.

Once had a female that after eggs were fertilized would brutally beat the male.
She was a great parent.

Currently, she's been eating super infrequently due to the ammonia levels being high (it was at 2.0 ppm last Tuesday). So she ate a little breakfast on Friday and then two days she wasn't interested, then today she ate a tiny pinchful this morning. However, prior to this I was feeding her 2x a day (morning and evening) and just a pinchful.
Currently have the light off since someone suggested while she's recouping, low lights might be best. So just my lights from over my kitchen sink are on for about... 14 hours? When I used her overhead light I made sure they were on for 8 hours. However, I'm wondering if the tank light I have is the best. Here's the tank kit I bought end of September: https://www.petsmart.com/fish/starter-kits/top-fin-all-in-one-betta-aquarium-starter-kit---3-gallon-5321019.html?gclsrc=aw.ds&gad_source=1&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIoaTe7ufkggMViSGtBh3cegR0EAQYASABEgLxwfD_BwE
I personally would keep feeding lightly once a day even after the cycling is fully complete. I would also do larger wc's that should help to rid the algae.
