@TheSwissAquaristprobably go with Pine or Oak then use a good sealant or stain to keep the wood protected and from rotting.

If you can get Chemiclean that will work. Reef keepers use to to kill Red Cyanobacteria. I have used it in my nano planted tank with success.

@Aliciagwe have been getting fish but I have been busy helping around in the company so unfortunately the fish list was put on the back burner. Hopefully now I can now get these back to normal release days on Wednesday or Thursdays going forward.

I love dottybacks. I got a strawberry basslet in my tank. One of the last fishes I added so aggression is actually fairly minimal

@Petebeen a while since I have had these in shop. Kind of of like a molly bred with a ender for size and attitude if that makes since. They get striped patterns for the males when natural light hits them, they look fairly stunning especially once the males are mature and all colored up. Both sexes get a blue sparkle to them. I would say fun fish for 10 gallons and up.

@Steph’s Fish and PlantsHow did you get your mantis shrimp and what's your thoughts on it as a pet? I assume purchased but if it was a hitch hiker awesome score! I always had interest in a Mantis shrimp but was curious if its like keeping certain tarantulas in that its basically a pet hole that comes out really quickly to feed and that's about it. Was curious if they interact with you. I remember watching a documentary on them and I felt like they have fairly good intelligence.

Nice digging the mantis shrimp!

If I recall reading it correctly but I believe air powered skimmers actually add a lot of dissolved oxygen in the aquarium and yes I get some that escape and my tunze filter will collect it and occasionally burp out them after a while.

@eatyourpeasits not bad, I certainly recommend it if your tank has a small AIO filter area or don't mind seeing it inside your tank. Makes a very watery skimate though. Its a Reef Glass nano skimmer. Currently running the USB nano air pump to run it. You have to DIY the collection cup which was easy. Supposedly rated up to 30 gallons. I like the sleek look of it and overall it runs fairly quietly.

@Fish FolkPictures are of an Albino Paradise and Blue Paradise. We do get a Red Flame Paradise but none in stock at this time. That looks like the very bottom one of the good looking males in your first post. We find that they do well with most rainbows, danios, loaches, and certain barbs and or cyprinids for tank mates. Great setup I have done in shop was dojo loaches, giant danios, and paradise fish. Great trio of cool water fish.

@David Dthey represent different plant farms 1-4. Helps us track quality. At this time we are not using the other smaller numbers found on the tags.
