We stopped carrying those heaters when we hit 12 months of out of stock and fluval couldn't get them to us. We still have some in stock to honor warranty claims. However we can't sell a product we can't get ahold of. They are back in stock now, however, after selling them for years, we know they can't keep them in stock as in years previous it was still spotty. We were having to keep 6 months of heaters in stock and then we'd still run out.. That simply doesn't work long term to store that much product.

That's not really how it works @Henry If we bring in 30 species of fish, different species will be ready to go at different times. Some come in skinny, some come in sick, some need longer to adjust. Some will need tanks to become available etc.

That makes sense. What is the minimum tank size for you these days?
Thanks again for sharing the progress!
20 Gallons I think, I have considered doing a bunch of them. I haven't committed to anything yet. Mostly cause I haven't had time.

I was thinking about the tank size choices for the new room. It would be cool to have some of the sizes that correspond to your "Best X for Tank Y" videos and articles, so maybe a pair of tens, a pair of twenties, and then go bigger. You would have several example tanks to point to in videos.
Unfortunately that doesn't interest me. Keeping aquariums I'm not interested in doesn't work out well. I haven't decided the tank sizes yet, but I do know that doing it for any other reason that for what I enjoy will just end up failing.

I haven't kept them, but they get a couple feet minimum. You'd usually want a tank that is 3-4 ft front to back depth at the minimum as they can't turn well, they are pretty much a stick with fins.

Not sure how you got em, but they probably make good fish food 🙂

Wow, wonder if they made improvements or you got lucky. I’m the past, as soon as they touched water for me by falling in, they were goners.
I may have to test one in water now.

I really like Aaron's approach to angels. He was a local breeder that did youtube. Lots of DIY projects also. https://www.youtube.com/user/Ajemison

Unlikely we'll do stuff on tiktok. It's hard to be on many platforms and youtube will take over tiktok, they are already beta testing the features just like tiktok in India that'll go world wide.
Thanksk to all who showed up and sorry I didn't get to all the question. Got a little hectic there 😉 -
Maybe if you post well rounded questions here, I could answer them on stream.

I'd say on the surface. Catappa leaves would be good for all fish for their anti biotic/fungal properties and fry food. However in crazy amounts without water changes they could affect the ph, which wouldn't be good for all fish.

All of our warehouse tanks intentionally have at least Nerite snails. But most would also have some "pest snails" as the online culture would refer to them. To me, I'd never run a tank without pest snails. It's like living in a house with a dog, every crumb you drop, they'll eat and clean up after you.

What is your pH? you say your water is soft. You've got fish in there that want very hard water and some that want very soft water. You've got high pH fish and low pH fish. You're gonna need to strike just the right bargain to make them all happy especially with disease in there.
-
It can affect them. Just looks like something may be going on with the skin of that fish as well. Do you have a qt tank you can put it in with salt?
-
I usually put a bunch in at one time. The nutrients sit there till used.

Ask the vendor you bought it from? Looks like it may be an anubias that was grown floating and that's why the stem pattern is all messed up.
-
Also make sure to test the same time every day. As with a planted tank, right when lights come on will have much lower oxygen then at the end of the day when the plants produced oxygen all day.
-
My testing was, use the same aquariums and change the airation method. Wait several days to 1 week between tests. I started with things that wouldn't go backwards. Like having a tank top full of duck weed, then removing the duck weed. Then different airstone/powerhead/canister/hang on backs. This is why my testing took a couple of months.

Are the plants new? They may be melting back and converting. Otherwise sword plants use a lot of root tabs. When small maybe one a month is ok, but 3-4 months later they're probably eating closer to 6 root tabs a month. You can't really over fertilize with root tabs, unless you let them get above the substrate.

It's just gelatin and shouldn't cause any problem. Next time you can open the rock wool and place it deeper to avoid this.
-
What are the water parameters of your tank? Looks like you may have a low pH issue going on as well? Is it all live plants in there as salt would likely clear up most things with these guppies. Otherwise it could be a prolapse causing this on this specific guppy.

plant on the right that has the needle leaves looks to be hornwort. The red and green plant is an emersed grown form of a ludwigia it looks like, most likely repens. The jaggad plant is emersed grown form of wisteria.

yes, it'll be fine in small quantities.
