Fenrir
Hunting for an overall good CO2 regulator, which brand would you guys recommend?
SKosto
I have a co2 art pro se, and I have no complaints about it. I see them and GLA recommended frequently by people.
DShelton
I have previously used Milkwaukee and AquaTek and had good luck with both. I just bought a new AquaTek for the tank that I am currently working on.
Fenrir
So my next question is do I buy another 48inch fluval 3.0 and save for the co2 system or do I buy full CO2 system and save for another light? I currently have a 210 gallon that is my elite show tank for my partial planted Lake tang tank and I have 1 fluval 3.0 already.
DShelton
Honestly, You can grow a lot of great plants without CO2. If I were putting together a tank that large, I would sort the lighting out first, and use 'easy' plants. Then later on if I wanted some of the more demanding plants, I would buy the CO2 system. Jungle Fan
Green Leaf Aquariums' Dual Stage CO2 regulator from Florida is in my opinion the best commercial regulator also with the best warranty here in the U.S. Next best is the CO2 Art which is a German company. Milwaukee I will not recommend, it is a single stage and quality was abominable when I had one many years ago, cost me some of my Cobra guppies at the time when it did an end of tank dump. Aqua Tek I haven't even heard about, so I can't say anything about it one way, or the other.
