ryanlc1
This is something I've never seen before. The female platy has eggs outside of its body. Will the problem resolve itself?
Fish Folk
😬 woah! Some sort of herniated situation, I’m guessing. Never have seen that. No idea. Guess it’s wait and see...
Colu
It's suffered a prolapse it not eggs I would Qarantine and treat with salt 1 table spoon for 1 gallons the salt will help the prolapse to go back into place do not feed for a couple of day sometimes it goes back sometimes it won't and you might have to think about euthanizeing him at that point Edited March 24, 2021 by Colu Miss spelling
quikv6
I had a fish with a prolapse before. I did 4 baths a day, for 15 minutes each, with Epsom salt. (Specifically Epsom salt). Within a few days, the prolapse was reabsorbed into the body and the fish was fine. I also fasted the fish during that period. Good luck, and keep us posted.
