James221077
Hello, just dosed easy green for the first time in my 55gl. I only used 3 pumps out of the recommended 5, and I noticed my fish swimming near the top. I increased the pressure on my air stone and they seem fine now. Just curious if this is normal after dosing fertilizer or if anyone else has noticed this? Maybe it was caused by something else?
Daniel
I have a dissolved oxygen sensor that sometimes is in aquariums that I dose with Easy Green. I have never noticed a drop in dissolved oxygen associated with the addition of Easy Green. 2
Brandy
I would look for some other factor as well. I have never had fish react badly to easygreen, but I have absolutly nearly trashed my tank with flourish excel and dechlorinator trying to kill algae, and I even knew better.
James221077
Ok, it must have been a fluke. Thanks for the replies.
JaredL
My fish always swim near the top when I dose fertilizer because they think they are getting fed. Perhaps this is what is happening.
