Goldfish pond temp.?

I have a small wading pool in my back yard in California. I plan to get a larger one but the question is how cold will goldfish live in 48 degree water at night and in the morning?

Single tailed goldfish will go really low, I'd say in the teens without freezing solid. Fancies, I"ve had overwinter with ice on top of the pond. I'd say with your 48 degree water it should be no problem.
