Craziiininja
How long can plants like vallisneria and pennywort live in shipping?
FrozenFins
Plants can live 7-8 days (maybe more) with out light. So I would be guessing around the 10ish maybe 12ish day mark.
Craziiininja
They should arrive tomorrow and that will be day 8. I ordered corckscrew val, tiger val, italian val, and pennywort from lrb. I hope they make it but we'll see.
StephenP2003
I was doing a test of my own since I have a ton of plants I intend to sell online after the Christmas mail rush is done. One of the plants I tested was corkscrew val wrapped in damp paper towel and in a ziplock. Set it outside for about 6 days, two of which dropped below freezing, and it was in fine shape.
