Fishdownsouth
Hi everyone new here. Nice to meet everyone. I had a question I have some baby bristle nose pleco, They are not fry. I have them in 5 gallon tank. They range from size of a dime to some size of a quarter. And now my Venezuelan corydoras started laying eggs in my tank so I took out the eggs and put them in a little breeding container and to my surprise they hatched and now I have corydora fry. My question is can and should I put the corydoras in the 5 gallon with the small plecos. Thank you to everyone in advance. Here are some pics also
Guppysnail
I have kept Cory fry with bristlenose fry. The big thing is they are both heavy eaters and heavy waste producers. This means they will not be ok in a 5 gallon for long.
Fishdownsouth
Thank you for the reply. Yes will definitely be moving them into a bigger tank. I just like to keep them in smaller tanks while they are tiny so it’s easier for them to find food.

Indeed! I do the same. If you have other tanks, I’d definitely move the pleco’s into another tank, and then use the 5 gallon to start raising up the Cory’s.
