Zodiak246
Ph:7 Ammonia:0 Nitrite:0 Nitrate:5 Temp: 25C Does anyone know what this is and how to treat it? I currently have it in a 5gallon tank. I treated the tank with kanaplex and stress guard and 1.5tablespoon of salt. I'm not sure if those meds are the right ones. Should I do water changes daily or just put meds every 2 days? Any help would be appreciated.
Guppysnail
Jungle fungus fizz tabs may help. This is fungus stemming most likely from an injury. Ich-x or methylene blue along with your salt and kanaplax until you get the jungle fizz tabs. Kanaplax is great to prevent secondary infection but you need an anti fungal. @Colu may have salt level recommendations or other treatment recommendations available

Guppysnail
Follow instructions on the medication and control ammonia with prime, AmQuel , Fritz if needed. If you need to do daily water change replace meds and salt only for the amount of water you change not the entire water volume.
