Harvesting worms?

I found a large number of what I think are red worms in my yard. Would it be safe to collect them to feed to my fish?

I know my neighbor gathers earthworms for his big fish. He is careful to never use pesticides or fertilizer in his yard. 
 

If I recall correctly @Fish Folk did a video of earthworm feeding. I don’t recall if he collected them himself though.

Use small ones. Feed to large enough fish. They work fine! We do it every week or so. US Native fish devour them. Large Discus and medium-sized cichlids enjoy them. The smaller the worms, the better.

Pardon the goofy exuberance. I’m raising all boyz…
