I am a intermediate fish keeper with 2 tanks (Might be 4 soon). I have many cherry shrimp in a 20 gallon planted tank. In my 75 gallon tank I have 1 small turtle and 15 Beuno Aries tetras. I love canister filters and having my nitrites stop killing shrimp.

Welcome! I find I have to portion out how many tanks I want based on how much time I have to check on them and water changes. Otherwise I’d have more than 4. I used to have 2 last year sooo…haha. (5 but that’s a quarantine)

I am new here too! I have been keeping small 5 gallon fish tanks for 5 years trying to work on learning how to keep plants alive. I have neocardina davidi shrimp coming in tomorrow for my current 6.5 gallon tank with fresh plants and all sorts of stuff. I also got a big order of shrimp food from Aquarium co-op coming in this week too! Can't wait to see some pictures of your tanks! 🙂
