AllFishNoBrakes
The first black rams I tried were from them .Unfortunately, they fell apart in my water. Got a different pair from a LFS and again they fell apart in my water. After spending $100 on 4 fish from two separate sources I decided to try something else. I do not believe I received “bad” fish from either place. Even though I had my water at like 84 they just didn’t seem to work well for me and I wasn’t willing to keep throwing money at them. Also, these aren’t the “midnight” rams that are basically completely black, but I definitely believe they are the black variety

AllFishNoBrakes
I’ve never seen them in person, only in pictures and videos. If I ever see them I hope they’re at my LFS where I have a bunch of store credit sitting and waiting, lol.
SaveTheRainbowfish
I have been lucky enough to see black rams (not midnight rams) in person and had two older juviniles gifted to me by a fellow breeder. Those look like black rams, but they don't have the greatest visual genetic makeup. Hope this helps.
Andy's Fish Den
There are black rams that show blue and then there are midnight rams which are solid black. I have seen YouTube videos from guys in Australia they call the ones that show blue a blue-black ram or a black and blue ram. IMO I would hold off and find some of the midnight variety

The seller "Tlowns25" always has good stock but I think they don't have the full black available now. You can message them there to check when it will be available again or check their other website https://www.tamsrams.com/product/10/black-storm-ram
