pseudomugil
I may have over-looked this yesterday, but two days ago, this was not the case for this Nymphaea stellata. The two larger pads and their distance from the bulb appear to be growth over 48hrs, if that. I have had this plant for about two weeks now, and experimentally switched the substrate in the pot not long after adding them to the tank. This pot also contains a Nymphaea zenkeri that has not shown any growth for over a year. It now has two small but robust leaves in an attempt to re-establish itself. Despite having kept multiple lily and lotus species, this growth took me by surprise today. Looks like I’ll be repotting the other large lotus in this tank.
