Stephen Zawacki
Hi guys I have a question for ya, I have gotten 3 of these Belem Blue Angels for my big show tank, I've been trying to find out where they are from in the wild. I see different information every time, the most common one I have found is that in the wild the Belem Blue angels are found in northern south America, Is that correct, I'm just curious? Fish Folk
Here, I think you’ll find your answer. Source is from someplace near Belém, Para, Brazil… I think you’ll find that they appear more “blue” once fully mature, and when their lighting includes blue LED blocks…

Stephen Zawacki
Thank you, never knew they could be found in the wild So after reading the article it seems that they were selective bred where above fish folk said Belem Brazil they are found so are they wild and since they are breeding in captivity they are called different?
