Lizzyduff
Was using that neon green dyed moss stuff for some terrestrial plants nearby and somehow managed to drop a piece in there, and didn't notice until today when my water turned bright green...St. Patrick's day style. Will activated carbon help clear it up? Or do I just need to do some water changes and be patient? 1
lefty o
carbon will likely help reduce it, or a few water changes.
Minanora
WTB Pictures. That sounds really neat. I would change water and use carbon just because I always have carbon sitting around doing nothing. 2
nabokovfan87
I third carbon. Fine filter pad might help too, but carbon and (mostly) water dilution is going to do all the work for you. Carbon will remove the stuff you don't see, changing water will get it back to normal color.
Lizzyduff
The carbon worked perfectly, thank you! Unfortunately, having never used carbon before, I didn't rinse it first, but once the dust settled the green tint was gone. Huge relief, much appreciated!
