Thomas Guin
I have 2 Dwarf Lilly bulbs in a 55 and 29 gallon established tanks. Ph around 8, have been in for almost 4 weeks with no noticable sign of roots. Has anyone had this issue? Bought them from the Coop.
Odd Duck
It can take a while for them to break dormancy. As long as the bulb isn’t mushy or floating, just give it time. Check it 1-2 times weekly for getting mushy. If it does get soft, it’s done.
lefty o
sometimes they sprout right away, sometimes they take quite a while, and some might never sprout. its a wait and see thing. as long as the bulb doesnt get mushy, they still have hope. JoeQ
As said above, a lot of times it's a waiting game.. A little thing that might help coax them to sprout is to push in a few root tabs around them.
