Wheelpower
I am a newbie when it comes to Baby Brine Shrimp. I don't know how to store the unhatched eggs, so I would appreciate any advice. I make sure to feed my fish the brine shrimp each day for two days then I throw out the unused hatched shrimp. Is this the correct way to do this or is there another way that I can save unused hatched shrimp?
Paul
I feed bbs 2-3 times a week and only hatch as much as I’ll use that day (2 feedings). For more info watch Deans bbs video.
Robin
I'm still experimenting with what works best for me but I think what I'm going to do is, feed half a hatch of BBS one night, the other half the next night. Start another hatch right away and feed spirulina for a day. I have some Xtreme Spirulina Flakes and my fish really love them.
McNubbin
Speaking with K of KGTropicals. He says he stores his containers of unhatched bbs eggs in the fridge and they stay viable for months.
Robin
Just now, McNubbin said: Speaking with K of KGTropicals. Hope it works because I accidentally just but 2 cans of eggs. It will take me some time to run out.
Spewing_nonsense_
You can also freeze unused hatched bbs, just get yourself a dedicated ice tray and fill each cube, then when you wanna use it just thaw it and throw them in the tank, not as good as fresh but better than throwing it away!
