KittenFishMom
I bought some Giant Wonder Shells on line by accident. They are HUGE. Is there a good way to cut them up without them turning into a pile of powder?

lefty o
i put them on a hard object still sealed in the bag, and give it 1 moderate smack with a hammer. ive not gotten too much dust that way, but they dont exactly break into nice even pieces. KittenFishMom
@lefty o That is OK, I don't have nice even fish.
Guppysnail
I have bought the wrong size. I use the crab cracking technique. I saw a thin line just enough that my knife does not slide. Then I line the knife up and smack the knife with a hammer. Not even pieces but they fly across the room less than just a hammer whack.
