Loach recommendation.

Hello everyone!

I am currently working on a 15-gallon Fluval Flex that will have a school of Harlequin Rasboras and a Betta.

I want to put in some species of loach, but I'm not sure what species, since most need a minimum of 20 gallons

Do any of yall have recommendations for what loach I could put in?

Thanks in advance!

Kuhlis can get that big but depends on what and how much you are feeding. If you were worried you could back off to 5-7. They can get big, round and fat if overfed. I have not seen mine growing very fast with algae wafers a 3 times a week, lots of frozen and live foods and heavily feeding the tank perhaps because the other residents - dwarf krobia cichlids and mollys are pigs. Their bioload is relatively low as they are fairly sedentary until they do their danger noodle routine up and down the glass especially at night or before lights on. I was also trying to provide you with sufficient numbers to see them. Whereas dwarf chains are more active and also aggressive which is another consideration for you.
