i think this should work cause ruby barbs are bottom dwellers

but pl letme know

and yes ruby barbs are very peaceful

Out of curiosity, are you looking for a combination for a particular aquascape? Or just selecting fish for their placement and coloration / combo?

Killis can be jumpers, so my caution would be that a lidless tank might render some dried up fish on the floor eventually. As far as the species go, as long as by "juvenile" you don't mean "fits inside mouth" for the Killis.

Here's the Killis I breed and raise. They're Africans. Emerald Killifish (Fundulopanchax scheeli).

I second @Fish Folk on Killis vs juveniles size being a factor. My golden wonder killifish ate everything that would fit in their mouths some of which were surprisingly large fish compared to them. If it wasn't another golden wonder and they couldn't eat it they ignored it. If it fit in their hanger door of a mouth they ate it. That prey list included absolutely everything from all levels of my tank.

Adults got pretty big 4" or so and loved to eat anything; I would use them for keeping my line healthy vs sharing space with smaller fish in that type of situation.

They are a great killifish who regularly jumped for food and likely for fun a few times in my setups.

My Golden Panchax are very mean to my tetras in my 29 gallon. So if you are too worried I wouldn't try it. But Golden Panchax are a very wonderful fish and are definitely one of my favorites.

they are truly a stunning fish and very easy t keep and the dot on their head looks cool too
